SB 1422: Workers' Compensation

GENERAL BILL by Gutman

Workers' Compensation; creates Workers' Compensation Appeals Commission with LES Dept.; provides that specified persons may not be exempt; requires findings by psychiatrist for specific coverage; revises exemptions from liability; increases civil penalties against employers; provides for medical treatment in managed care arrangement; authorizes employers who self-insure to opt out of mandatory managed care arrangements, etc. Amends Ch. 440, 20.171.
