SB 1964: Forensic Procedure Act

GENERAL BILL by Gutman

Forensic Procedure Act; provides legislative intent re treatment of defendants who are guilty but insane; provides for training of mental health experts, & for appointing of expert witnesses; prohibits introduction or removal of certain articles from forensic facility; provides for Forensic Security Review Board to issue order of commitment; provides requirements for court re crime committed by defendant under jurisdiction of said board, etc. Amends Ch. 916, 40.29. APPROPRIATION: $375,000.
