CS/SB 1992: Sexual Predators Act
GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Burt ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Cowin
Sexual Predators Act; requires that FDLE provide CFS Dept. with access to certain criminal justice information for purposes of child protective investigations & emergency child placement; revises said act; prescribes criteria & procedures for designation as sexual predator; requires FDLE & DOC to verify addresses of sexual predators; authorizes FDLE to provide info on sexual offenders & predators through Internet, etc. Amends Chs. 415, 775, 943, 944, 948.
Effective Date: 05/21/1998 except as otherwise provided
