GENERAL BILL by Civil Justice & Claims ; Warner ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Clemons ; Burroughs ; Bradley ; Flanagan ; Byrd ; Thrasher ; Cosgrove

Sovereign Immunity/Tort Actions; provides certain governmental subdivisions with authority to settle certain claims exceeding statutory limits; provides that settlements which exceed statutory limits shall not waive any defense or immunity; reenacts provisions to incorporate said amendment in references. Amends 768.28; reenacts 111.071(1)(a),(b), 190.043, 234.03(1), 234.211(2)(b), 760.11(5), 766.203(1)(b), 766.207(1), 944.713(2).
