CS/HB 3255: Court Costs/Law Enforcement Funding

GENERAL BILL by Law Enforcement & Public Safety ; Sindler ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Safley ; Feeney ; Betancourt ; Murman ; Fischer ; Merchant ; Saunders ; Casey ; Rojas ; Littlefield ; Wise ; Heyman ; Fasano ; Cosgrove ; Crist ; Valdes ; Putnam

Court Costs/Law Enforcement Funding; imposes additional court cost on fines for criminal offenses in county & circuit courts; provides for deposit in Crime Stoppers Trust Fund; provides for distribution of such funds in trust fund by Legal Affairs Department to counties to support official Crime Stoppers & their programs; includes court cost assessed pursuant to specific provision in court costs for noncriminal traffic infractions. Creates 938.06; amends 16.555, 318.18.
