HB 4411: State Correctional System
GENERAL BILL by Corrections ; Trovillion
State Correctional System; prohibits certain contracts to house out-of-state inmates without specific legislative authorization; increases membership on Correctional Privatization Commission; permits said commission to authorize contractors to use inmate labor in facility construction & in public work programs, under specified circumstances; restricts types of inmates to be assigned & transferred to private correctional facilities, etc. Amends Chs. 944, 945, 957.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
