GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance

Workers' Compensation Division; redefines term "employee" to conform to transfer of enforcement powers & duties to DOI; transfers exemption reporting requirements from said division to DOI; authorizes DOI to assess civil penalties against employers for failure to secure workers' compensation coverage; authorizes division to contract with third party for administration & payment of supplemental benefits to injured workers, etc. Amends Ch. 440.
