SB 1722: Assisted Living Facilities

GENERAL BILL by Clary

Assisted Living Facilities; revises training requirements for staff that provide special care for residents who have Alzheimer's disease or related disorders; amends provisions re contracts between facilities & their residents; revises guidelines for providing nursing services to residents; allows facilities to honor do-not-resuscitate orders; prohibits staff member's acting as resident attorney-in-fact, with exceptions, etc. Amends Ch. 400.
