CS/SB 1746: Three-Strike Violent Felony Offender

GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Lee ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Brown-Waite ; Cowin

Three-Strike Violent Felony Offender; creates "Three-Strike Violent Felony Offender Act"; redefines certain terms; revises alternative time periods within which certain offenders could have committed felony to be sentenced; provides for sentencing as three-time violent felony offender; defines term "cannabis plant"; provides for sentencing pursuant to Criminal Punishment Code of offenders convicted of trafficking in specified quantities of cannabis, etc. Amends FS.
