GENERAL BILL by Children & Families ; Murman ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Crist ; Brown ; Edwards ; Greenstein ; Sobel ; Hafner ; Wilson
Mental Health & Substance Abuse; authorizes CFS Dept. to use unit cost methods of payment in contracts for mental health & substance abuse services; requires dept. to establish certain contract, payments, & accounting standards; creates Mental Health & Substance Abuse Commission; directs dept. to develop cooperative agreements with local agencies for diverting from criminal justice system to civil mental health system persons with mental illness arrested for misdemeanor, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $100,000.
