CS/SB 1580: Tobacco Settlement

GENERAL BILL by Finance and Taxation ; Burt

Tobacco Settlement; requires Governor in consultation with Attorney General to report by date certain on status of tobacco settlement agreement & formula for calculating annual payments; requires Comptroller to request informations from tobacco industry which are used to calculate annual payments & to verify such information; requires Comptroller to notify Governor, Senate & House of Representatives of any overpayment or underpayment, etc. Amends 569.21.
