SB 1858: Child Welfare/Protective Custody

GENERAL BILL by Cowin

Child Welfare/Protective Custody; provides procedure under which child may be temporarily removed from his or her home while injunctive relief is sought; specifies circumstances under which child must be taken into protective custody while injunctive relief is sought; expands program for attorneys ad litem for dependent children from pilot program within specified judicial circuit into program in additional circuits, etc. Amends 39.301,.4086, 402.731.
