CS/SB 2080: Insurance

GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Carlton

Insurance; authorizes DOI to adopt rules re required filings; provides for alternative methods of service of process; requires certain foreign insurers to comply with certain provisions; provides additional exception to requirement that minimum of 2 months' premium be collected to issue policy or binder for motor vehicle insurance; provides legislative intent for use of risk-based capital reports & other related documents, etc. Amends FS.
