CS/SB 448: Absentee Ballots

GENERAL BILL by Ethics and Elections ; Ethics and Elections ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Posey ; Smith ; Carlton ; Brown-Waite ; Dyer ; Lawson ; Sebesta ; Jones ; Constantine ; Bronson

Absentee Ballots; redefines term "absent elector"; modifies information on absentee ballot requests; modifies absentee ballot certificates; modifies instructions to absent electors & modifies information that must be included on such ballot; repeals provision re returning absentee ballots; deletes prohibition against persons witnessing more than five ballots & prohibition against returning more than two ballots in election, etc. Amends Ch. 101, 97.021, 104.047.
