CS/HB 623: Government Accountability

GENERAL BILL by State Administration ; Mack ; Berfield ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Byrd ; Dockery ; Argenziano ; McGriff ; Haridopolos ; Brutus

Government Accountability; provides that property of state or monetary recovery made on behalf of state is not subject to lien; clarifies current requirement that contractor on certain state contracts must allow access to public records unless records are exempt; provides for injunctions without bond when sought by state or its agencies; authorizes Risk Management Division to enter into indemnification agreements for supersedeas bonds, etc. Amends FS.
