GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Criminal Justice ; Villalobos
Criminal Rehabilitation; redesignates area of program services within DOC as program, transition, & postrelease services; creates Addiction-Recovery Supervision Program Act; requires dept. to contract with faith-based groups & private organizations to operate substance-abuse-transition housing programs; provides for inmates released from private correctional facilities to be eligible for same transition-assistance services that are provided, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $5,005,514.
