GENERAL BILL by Council for Smarter Government ; Cantens ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Arza

Building Code Development; exempts modular structures from Fla. Building Code; requires Fla. Building Commission to develop building code provisions to facilitate rehabilitation & use of existing structures; provides that each elevator owner is responsible for inspections & correction of code deficiencies; revises provisions governing local government amendments to technical provisions of said code, etc. Amends Chs. 399, 553, 604.50, 627.0629.
