GENERAL BILL by Commerce and Economic Opportunities ; Klein ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Crist
Economic Development; creates "Florida Emerging & Strategic Technologies Act"; provides legislative findings re relationship between availability of capital & development of high-technology businesses; expresses legislative intent that FRS investments complement economic development strategies; declares, for purposes of Fla. Industrial Development Financing Act, that information technology industry is vital to economy of state, etc. Amends Chs. 121, 159, 240, 288, 445.
