GENERAL BILL by Health, Aging and Long-Term Care ; Banking and Insurance ; Saunders ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Campbell ; Peaden ; Cowin

Health Insurance; includes preferred provider organization & health insurers in claim dispute resolution program; provides requirements & procedures for payment or denial of claims; establishes permissive error ratio & provides guidelines for applying ratio; provides that HMOs remain liable for certain violations that occur after transfer of certain financial obligations through health care risk contracts, etc. Amends Chs. 626, 627, 641, 408.7057.
