GENERAL BILL by Public Safety & Crime Prevention ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Barreiro

Law Enforcement Officer Training; requires trainees attending approved basic recruit training programs to reimburse employing agency for tuition, other course expenses, wages, & benefits paid by agency if employee terminates his or her employment or appointment within specified time period after graduation; provides schedule for reimbursement of trainee's wages & benefits; authorizes employing agency to institute civil action under certain circumstances, etc. Amends 943.16.
