SB 2120: Medical Malpractice

GENERAL BILL by Peaden

Medical Malpractice; (THIS BILL COMBINED IN CS/CS/CS/S564,2120,2620) revises required criteria for expert witness to give expert testimony concerning prevailing professional standard of care; revises required criteria for expert witness to give testimony concerning general practitioner; increases period for extending statute of limitations in medical negligence case, etc. Amends Ch. 766.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
