GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Health, Aging, and Long-Term Care ; Peaden ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Campbell ; Atwater
Prescription Drug Protection Act; provides legislative findings & intent re report by Seventeenth Statewide Grand Jury; prohibits purchase or sale of Rx drugs in wholesale distribution in exchange for currency; requires that Rx drug repackagers, nonresident Rx drug manufacturers, & freight forwarders obtain permit from Health Dept. in order to do business; requires Health Dept. to establish website listing all permitholders & pending enforcement actions, etc. Amends FS.
