GENERAL BILL by Communication and Public Utilities ; Campbell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Siplin ; Cowin ; Margolis ; Miller ; Posey

Commercial Electronic Messages; prohibits person from transmitting commercial electronic mail message that uses third party's Internet domain name without permission or message that contains false or misleading information; provides damages & award for attorney's fees & costs, & in lieu of actual damages, if provider so chooses, greater of $10 for each unsolicited commercial electronic mail message transmitted or $25,000 per day, etc.
