CS/SB 90: Parent-child Privilege
GENERAL BILL by Children and Families ; Geller
Parent-child Privilege; creates parent-child privilege to prevent disclosure of communications that were intended to be made in confidence; defines term "parent"; provides proceedings in which privilege does not exist; provides for waiver of privilege; requires that guardian ad litem be appointed to represent minor child prior to court approving waiver of privilege. Creates 90.5045.
