SB 1676: Protection of Manatees
GENERAL BILL by Bennett
Protection of Manatees; requires that measurable biological goals for manatee recovery adopted under Fla. Endangered & Threatened Species Act be used by Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission when evaluating existing & proposed manatee-protection rules; directs that existing rules be presumed adequate & additional rules unnecessary in region where measurable biological goals are being achieved, etc. Amends 370.12.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
