CS/SB 1744: Health Flex Plans
GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Peaden
Health Flex Plans; redefines term "health flex plan entity" to include public-private partnership; expands pilot program of AHCA & Insurance Regulation Office of Financial Services Commission to establish statewide health flex plans; requires agency to ensure that health flex plans follow grievance procedures similar to those required of HMOs; requires agency & office to obtain information on specified benefit packages, etc. Amends 408.909.
