GENERAL BILL by Cretul ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Baxley ; Dean

Cargo Theft; creates Statewide Study Commission on Cargo Theft & Trucking Security; requires that meetings of commission be open to public & held within state; provides that theft of semitrailer deployed by law enforcement agency is grand theft of first degree, punishable as felony of first degree; provides that it is felony of second degree to commit certain acts involving fifth wheel or altered fifth wheel, etc. Amends Ch. 812, 921.0022; reenacts FS.
