GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Banking and Insurance ; Banking and Insurance ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Clary
Workers' Compensation; authorizes DFS to issue order of conditional release from stop-work order if employer complies with coverage requirements & penalty payment agreement; establishes three tiers of employers eligible for coverage under plan; requires Auditor General to conduct operational audit of Workers' Comp. Joint Underwriting Association; amends provision which limits workers' compensation benefits to nonresident alien for death of worker, etc. Amends Chs. 440, 627. APPROPRIATION: $10,050,000.
