JOINT RESOLUTION by Ethics and Elections ; Atwater ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fasano ; Campbell
Cost on State Government; constitutional amendment to require that if proposed constitutional amendment would impose cost on state government which is greater than $1 million per fiscal year, as estimated in manner provided by general law, amendment must impose new state taxes or fees to fund implementation of amendment; requires any such proposed amendment must be approved by at least two-thirds of voters casting ballots in election in which proposed amendment is considered, etc.
