CS/SB 428: Independent Living Transition Svcs.
GENERAL BILL by Children and Families ; Campbell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Dawson ; Atwater
Independent Living Transition Svcs.; authorizes CFS Dept, its agent, or certain community-based providers to administer system of independent living services; requires each district of dept. to identify adolescent foster children with developmental disabilities or special mental health needs & assist such youth in transition to self-sufficiency; authorizes Medicaid coverage for youth who are eligible for transitional support services, etc. Amends 409.1451.
