CS/SB 1262: Child Support Enforcement

GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Campbell ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Crist ; Wilson

Child Support Enforcement; provides civil penalties for employers, unions, & plan administrators not in compliance with requirements of national medical support notice; provides for sharing of information between consumer reporting agencies & DOR re amount of current support owed; provides conditions for collection of support from workers' comp. settlements; provides procedures for redirecting payments to person with whom child resides, etc. Amends Chs. 61, 409, 222.21, 382.016.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
