GENERAL BILL by Governmental Oversight and Productivity ; Communications and Public Utilities ; Communications and Public Utilities

Regulation of Communication; creates Committee on Public Service Commission Oversight as standing joint committee of Legislature; requires that said committee rather than Joint Legislative Auditing Committee oversee expenditures of Public Counsel; specifies exclusive jurisdiction of Florida PSC to regulate telecommunications companies; requires that broadband service remain free of state & local regulation, etc. Amends FS.
