CS/CS/HB 1621: Medical Malpractice Insurance

Medical Malpractice Insurance; creates Enterprise Act for Patient Protection & Provider Liability; requires licensed physician who is covered for medical negligence claims by hospital that assumes liability under act to prominently post notice or provide written statement to patients; authorizes insurers to offer liability insurance coverage to physicians which has exclusion for certain acts of medical negligence under certain conditions, etc. Amends FS.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
