HB 1799: Seaport Security Officers

GENERAL BILL by Domestic Security Committee ; Adams

Seaport Security Officers; authorizes seaport authority or governing board of specified seaports to require that seaport security officers receive additional training & certification; provides eligibility requirements for such training & certification; authorizes said officer to take into custody any person who officer has cause to believe is trespassing in restricted access area of seaport, etc. Creates 311.121,.122.
