GENERAL BILL by Altman ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ambler ; Carroll ; Goldstein ; Grimsley ; Needelman ; Ross ; Stargel

Contraband & Counterfeit Cigarettes; directs DBPR Secretary to require certain dealers & agents to remit tax on cigarettes by certified check or electronic funds transfer; revises requirements for & limitations on affixation of stamps; provides requirements re receipt, possession, storage, & transport of unstamped cigarette packages; makes unlawful the selling or possessing with intent to sell counterfeit cigarettes, etc. Amends Ch. 210; reenacts 772.102(1)(a), 895.02(1)(a).
