GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Siplin

Dart-firing Stun Guns; provides parameters within which law enforcement, correctional probation & correctional officers may employ dart-firing stun guns; requires that Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission establish standards for instruction in use of such stun guns in self defense & in use of deadly force; requires that minimum number of hours in such training be included in basic-skills course required for certification. Creates 943.1717.
