CS/CS/HB 701: Artificially Provided Sustenance

GENERAL BILL by Baxley ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ambler ; Attkisson ; Barreiro ; Bean ; Brown ; Brummer ; Cannon ; Carroll ; Cretul ; Davis ; Flores ; Goldstein ; Hays ; Jordan ; Dick ; Legg ; Lopez-Cantera ; Murzin ; Patterson ; Poppell ; Proctor ; Quinones ; Sansom ; Stargel ; Traviesa ; Williams, T.

Artificially Provided Sustenance; excludes withholding or withdrawing of artificially provided sustenance or hydration from certain authority to make health care decisions; prohibits withholding or withdrawing of artificially provided sustenance or hydration from person in persistent vegetative state in specific circumstances; authorizes certain interested persons to petition for enforcement of section, etc. Amends 765.401,.404; creates 765.405.
