GENERAL BILL by General Government Appropriations ; Regulated Industries ; Haridopolos ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Dockery ; Lynn ; Posey
Contraband & Counterfeit Cigarettes; provides additional regulatory & enforcement measures; directs DBPR Secretary to require certain dealers & agents to remit tax on cigarettes by certified check or electronic funds transfer; authorizes state, pursuant to Fla. Contraband Forfeiture Act, to claim certain property & materials from certain dealers & retailers who attempt to defraud state, etc. Amends Ch. 210; reenacts 772.102(1)(a), 895.02(1)(a).
