GENERAL BILL by Adams ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Ambler ; Carroll ; Homan ; Planas ; Russell ; Sansom

Law Enforcement; requires FDLE to review any records available to evaluate potential buyer or transferee of firearm, including adjudication of mental defectiveness or commitment to mental institution as criteria that prohibit person from purchasing firearm; provides that person who is seeking authorization for employment within or access to seaport may not deny or fail to acknowledge arrests covered by expunged records, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 07/01/2006 except as otherwise provided
