CS/SB 2036: Construction Defects/Property

GENERAL BILL by Regulated Industries ; Bennett

Construction Defects/Property; revises provisions to expand application to construction defects in any property, excluding public transportation projects; deletes provisions limiting application to only residential property; revises provisions concerning notice re pursuit of said defect claim in certain contracts for design, construction, or remodeling; applies Construction Defects provisions, notwithstanding notice provisions. Amends 558.001,.002,.004,.005.
