SB 2378: Agricultural Land/Tax Assessment

GENERAL BILL by Geller

Agricultural Land/Tax Assessment; revises provisions governing classification of land as agricultural for purpose of tax assessment; provides that construction of dwelling on part of lands used for agricultural purposes does not in itself preclude agricultural classification; prohibits said classification of land diverted to nonagricultural use as evidenced by issuance of local building permit for nonagricultural facility on platted land. Amends 193.461.
