CS/HB 7019: Mediation
GENERAL BILL by Civil Justice Committee ; Mahon
Mediation; provides standards for conduct of mediation; provides for role of mediator & counsel in specified mediations; requires referral of certain cases to mediation; prohibits certain cases from being referred to mediation; requires Supreme Court to maintain list of certified mediators; revises how mediation fees are assessed; requires mediation in certain family law cases, etc. Amends 44.1011,.102,.108, 61.183; creates 44.1015.
