CS/HB 7099: Florida Land Trust Act

GENERAL BILL by Judiciary Committee ; Simmons

Florida Land Trust Act; revises provisions re land trust transfers of real property & vesting of ownership in trustee; deletes requirement that trustee be qualified to act as fiduciary; specifies rights, liabilities, & duties of land trust beneficiaries; provides that principal residence of beneficiary which is held in land trust is entitled to homestead tax exemption under certain circumstances; provides application, etc. Amends 689.071, 201.02.
