SPB 7102: Eminent Domain
PROPOSED BILL by Judiciary
Eminent Domain; preempts power of eminent domain to state except as otherwise provided by law; limits power of counties to use eminent domain; requires consent to acquire property from certain governmental entities; prescribes manner by which county may exercise its power of eminent domain; limits power of municipalities to use eminent domain; prescribes manner for municipality to exercise power of eminent domain, etc. Amends Chs. 127, 163, 166.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
