GENERAL BILL by Health Care Regulation Committee ; Garcia ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sobel
Wellness Programs; requires DOH to collaborate with other state agencies in developing policies & strategies to prevent & treat obesity which shall be incorporated into agency programs; requires dept. to advise health care practitioners re morbidity, mortality, & costs associated with condition of being overweight or obese; creates Fla. State Employee Wellness Council within DMS; provides purpose & duties of council, etc. Amends 381.0054, 110.123.
