SB 928: Tax on Revenues/Slot Machines

GENERAL BILL by Geller

Tax on Revenues/Slot Machines; imposes tax on revenues from slot machines located in certain pari-mutuel facilities located in Broward Co., as authorized by s. 23 of Art. X of the State Constitution; provides for remitting tax proceeds periodically to DOR; requires tax proceeds to be deposited in State School Trust Fund & used to supplement public education funding; provides penalties for failure to timely pay tax on slot-machine revenues, etc. Amends 849.16.
