CS/HB 1361: Hospitals/Off-premises Emergency Departments

GENERAL BILL by Healthcare Council ; Garcia ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Hasner ; Porth ; Garcia, L.

Hospitals/Off-premises Emergency Departments; provides for hospital to apply for license to operate off-premises emergency department; provides for AHCA to approve license, contingent upon compliance with specified criteria; authorizes certain off-premises emergency departments to operate in accordance with licensure criteria in effect at time of approval; provides conditions under said emergency department is subject to licensure criteria in effect before July 1, 2007. Amends 395.003.
