CS/HB 1363: Organized Crime Group Prevention Act of 2007

GENERAL BILL by Safety & Security Council ; Gonzalez ; Hasner ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Zapata ; Garcia ; Skidmore ; Porth ; Allen ; Bullard ; Sachs ; Bucher ; Homan ; Schenck

Organized Crime Group Prevention Act of 2007; redefines "criminal street gangs" as "organized crime groups"; provides that specified provisions does not preclude arrest & prosecution under other specified provisions; revises provisions re soliciting or causing another to join organized crime group; prohibits use of electronic communications to further interests of organized crime group; provides for suspension of driver's licenses for certain offenses, etc. Amends FS.
