GENERAL BILL by Commerce ; Banking and Insurance ; Fasano ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn ; Margolis
Mortgages [EPCC]; authorizes Financial Regulation Office to impose fines; provides for review of testing process; provides additional disclosure requirements for mortgage brokerage businesses; authorizes borrower to waive notification under certain circumstances; provides for application of certain provisions to said businesses; specifies elements of offense of mortgage fraud; provides for venue re committed offense, etc. Amends Ch. 494; creates 817.545.
