GENERAL BILL by Regulated Industries ; Gaetz
Tower Crane/Tower Crane Operator Certification [EPCC]; requires tower crane to be certified in order to be operated; requires person to be certified in order to operate tower crane on construction projects; prohibits certain contractors from employing or contracting for services of tower crane operators without certification; provides rulemaking authority for DBPR; preempts regulation of tower cranes & tower crane operators to state, etc. Creates 489.1138,.1139.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
